Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo – Neon & Neighborhoods

Land in Tokyo (Narita or Haneda)
Transfer to hotel in Shinjuku or Shibuya
Evening:

Day 2
Tokyo Highlights – Old Meets New

Morning:
Asakusa Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise shopping street
Midday:

Evening:

Day 3
Day Trip – Mt. Fuji & Hakone (or Nikko optional)

Early train or bus to Hakone or Lake Kawaguchi

Return to Tokyo in the evening

Day 4
Travel to Kyoto – Fushimi Inari & Gion

Take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto (2.5 hrs)
Drop luggage at hotel and head to:
Fushimi Inari Shrine (iconic torii gates)
Explore Gion – traditional streets and maybe a geisha sighting

Day 5

Morning:

Togetsukyo Bridge

Day 6
Day Trip to Nara or Osaka

Option A: Nara
Visit Todai-ji Temple, see the Great Buddha, and walk through Nara Deer Park
Option B: Osaka
Visit Osaka Castle, explore Dotonbori for food (takoyaki, okonomiyaki), and shop in Shinsaibashi
Return to Kyoto for the night

Day 7
Departure

If flying from Osaka (Kansai Airport) – transfer directly
If returning to Tokyo, take morning Shinkansen (2.5 hrs)
Optional stops: Nishiki Market in Kyoto or Rinku Town Outlet near Osaka airport if time allows
